Why Nashville Homeowners Choose Anthony's for Fertilization & Weed Control
Most people could treat their own lawn in theory. In practice, the timing is what trips them up. A pre-emergent only works if it goes down before the weeds sprout, and by the time most of us spot crabgrass, that window has closed.
Then there's the fertilizer aisle. Every bag promises a great lawn, and none of them tell you which one your grass wants. Around here the answer changes with your grass, since fescue, bermuda and zoysia each want different things, and plenty of homeowners aren't sure which one they have.
It also takes a spreader that puts product down evenly, plus a free Saturday several times a year. We bring the equipment and keep track of the schedule. You get the lawn.
What You Get From Our Lawn Treatment Program
A greener lawn
Fed through the growing season, so it greens up in spring and holds its color.
Fewer weeds
Fewer weeds each year you stay on the program.
Nothing to remember
No schedule to keep track of. We show up when your lawn needs us.
Room to add on
Add fall core aeration and overseeding to thicken things up.
Lawn treatment is one part of our lawn care in Middle Tennessee. If we already mow for you, ask your crew about adding it.
Lawn Treatment for Fescue, Bermuda & Zoysia Lawns
You don't need to know your grass type. Middle Tennessee lawns are a mix of tall fescue and warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia, sometimes on the same street. When we come out for your free estimate, we'll look at what you've got and tell you how the program fits. If your lawn needs something different, we'll say so.
Bare or thin spots are a separate fix. Treatment feeds the grass you have, while lawn repair or fall overseeding fills in where there isn't any. We can add either one.
How Long Does Weed Control Take?
Realistically, one visit won't take a weedy yard to spotless. Each round takes out more, and the lawn looks better every season you stick with it. Clover and creeping charlie are stubborn and may thin out without disappearing completely. We'd rather tell you now than have you wondering about it in July.
If you're not happy with our work, we'll make it right. That's our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
One payment, whole season
Save 10% When You Prepay Your Lawn Treatment
The program is paid once for the whole season, and prepaying takes 10% off the total. Since that's how everyone signs up, everyone gets the discount. One payment and your lawn is covered until the last fall feeding.

Lawn Treatment FAQs
What's in the program?
Six visits between March and November. You get a pre-emergent in March, weed and feed in April and again in May or June, a nimblewill or grub and insect treatment in August (we check which one your lawn needs that summer), and straight fertilizer in September and October. Exact dates shift a little with the weather.
How long until the weeds are gone?
It's gradual. Each weed control round removes roughly 30% of the weeds, and results build over several seasons. Clover and creeping charlie are tougher and may only be reduced.
Do I have to prepay?
Yes. The program is prepaid for the full season, and prepaying takes 10% off the price.
Does the program work on bermuda and zoysia lawns?
Middle Tennessee has fescue, bermuda and zoysia lawns, sometimes on the same street. We'll look at your lawn during your free estimate and tell you how the program fits. If your lawn needs something different, we'll say so.
Can I add aeration and overseeding?
Yes. Fall core aeration and overseeding is an optional add-on. It's best suited to fescue lawns, and we'll let you know if yours is a good fit.
