Bare spots and worn patches, turned back into lawn you can enjoy.
Free estimates · Honest timelines · 100% satisfaction guarantee
Patching a lawn sounds like a small job until you're on your third trip to the garden center. Topsoil is heavy and bulky, so you need a way to get it home and a wheelbarrow to move it around the yard. Then there's straw to pick up and spread.
The harder part is knowing what to buy. Seed that suits your neighbor's lawn may not suit yours, and when you put it down matters as much as what you put down. Plenty of homeowners do the work, water faithfully and still end up with patches that don't take.
We bring the materials and know which seed your yard needs. You get the weekend back.
Grass back where the bare spots were. Each estimate covers one round, so you know what you're paying for this time and can decide on the next once you see how it comes in.
Step 1
Spread over the bare and worn areas to give new grass good ground to root in.
Step 2
Worked into the new soil, matched to the grass you've already got.
Step 3
Laid over the top to protect the seed while it grows.
Lawn repair is part of our lawn care in Middle Tennessee. Once the new grass is up, our lawn treatment program can keep it fed.
You don't have to work out your grass type first. Middle Tennessee lawns are a mix of tall fescue and warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia, and seed suits some of them better than others. We'll look at yours during the estimate and tell you what we'd do.
If seed isn't the answer, we'll say so. For some yards, sod installation gets you there faster. For a fescue lawn that's thin all over rather than bare in spots, fall aeration and overseeding may make more sense.
A badly worn lawn usually takes more than one round to bring all the way back. The first round gets grass going, and later rounds fill in whatever didn't take. You'll see it thicken up a little more each time.
Grass seed depends a lot on the weather and on watering, so we don't offer a warranty on seed. What we do promise is a repair done right and a clear plan for what comes next. If something about our work isn't right, call or text us and we'll make it right.

A full restoration usually takes 3 to 5 growing seasons and several rounds of repair. You'll see grass in the repaired areas well before that, and it fills in more with each round.
Fresh topsoil over the damaged areas, grass seed and a layer of straw on top. Each estimate covers one round.
Water 4 days a week for about an hour, between 7 and 10 AM or between 6 and 9 PM. Keep that up every season except winter.
It depends on your grass and how big the damaged area is. We'll look at your lawn during your free estimate and recommend whichever makes more sense.
We don't warranty seed, because how it grows depends on the weather and on watering. We'll give you a clear watering plan so the new grass has its best start.
