A finished lawn without the years of waiting on seed.

Sod looks simple. Unroll it and you've got a lawn, right? The work is all underneath. The old ground has to be broken up with a tiller, which most people would need to rent, and fresh topsoil has to be hauled in and spread before the first roll goes down.
Sod is also heavy, and it doesn't keep. Once it's delivered it needs to go down fast, which turns a weekend project into a race against the afternoon sun.
It has to be the right grass for your yard, too, and in Middle Tennessee that isn't always obvious. We'll tell you what makes sense and take care of the rest.
A new lawn for one price that covers labor and materials. No separate bill for sod or soil showing up later.
We charge you what the materials cost us.
If a bigger yard needs more than one round, we'll tell you upfront and price each round.
Sod installation is part of our lawn care in Middle Tennessee.
Middle Tennessee lawns are a mix of tall fescue and warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia, and that affects which fix makes sense. You don't need to know which one you have. Sod is the quicker way to a finished lawn. Seed costs less up front but takes longer, often several seasons for a badly damaged yard.
If your problem is a few bare spots, lawn repair may be all you need. If you have a fescue lawn that's thin all over, fall aeration and overseeding is worth a look. We'll walk the yard with you during the estimate and tell you what we'd do.
Because we don't mark up materials, we don't warranty the sod itself. Once it's down, how well it takes depends a lot on watering and the weather, and that part is out of our hands.
Our work is still covered. If something about the install isn't right, call or text us and we'll make it right.
The first few weeks are the ones that count, and they mostly come down to water.
Install day
Until the soil is wet about 6 inches down.
Weeks 1 and 2
More on hot days. Lift a corner now and then to check the water reaches 4 inches.
Week 3
Start easing back as it settles in.
Week 4
Skip a day when it isn't drying out.
Water in the morning or evening. Wait at least two weeks before the first mow, and keep the first few cuts at 2 inches or higher. As the roots take hold, ease off the water. Not sure how it's doing? Call or text us at 615-398-4307. Once your sod has rooted in, our lawn treatment program can keep it fed through the season.

Labor and materials. We roto-till the area, bring in fresh topsoil and lay the sod. We don't mark up materials.
We don't warranty sod. Because we don't mark up materials, you're paying what the sod costs us, and how it takes after install depends a lot on watering and weather. If something about our work isn't right, we'll make it right.
Some yards do, especially larger or more complicated areas. If yours does, we'll tell you during the estimate and price each round.
